Treatment & Therapeutic
Foster Parent Program

Envoi Associates is committed to transforming the lives of children and youth by providing nurturing and personalized family environments through our Treatment and Therapeutic Foster Parent Program. In alignment with the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA), a federal law designed to reform child welfare services, we aim to reduce the reliance on congregate care and ensure that children and youth have access to the least restrictive and most family-like settings available.

Currently, there are approximately 300 children and youth in congregate care settings in Colorado. Envoi Associates is dedicated to bridging the transition from these more restrictive environments to loving, supportive family homes through our specialized foster care programs.

Our treatment foster families get advanced training in trauma-informed care, child development, crisis management, behavioral support, and understanding mental health in children and youth.

We provide ongoing supervision, oversight, and support to ensure the well-being of both the foster child and the foster family.

Each child or youth in our program has a personalized care plan tailored to their specific needs, ensuring they receive the appropriate support and interventions.

Holistic Approach

Coordination and Support

Similar to treatment foster families, therapeutic foster families undergo specialized training focused on the specific diagnoses, behaviors, interventions, and other identified needs of the children or youth in their care.

Our therapeutic foster care program addresses the physical, psychological, and emotional needs of the children and youth, facilitating their transition to less-intensive care levels.

We offer comprehensive service provision, coordination, and support to foster families, ensuring they have the resources needed to provide effective care.
